Obama was a Meeting with Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs

On a four-day trip through Western U.S states, the first stop of President Obama in the Bay Area was a meeting with Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs for 45-minute private conversation to discuss American competitiveness, education and technology.

Robert Gibbs, White House spokesman said, ?Especially, they discussed reforms such as the President?s Race to the Top initiative, ways to increase job creation and also energy independence.?

When traveling on Air Force One from Seattle to San Francisco, he added to reporters, ?The meeting of the President was interested in having.?

Last met of both of them were along the trail in the 2008 (presidential) campaign.

Obama stopped in Oregon and Washington State before arriving in the Bay Area for similar party rallies and fundraisers. To support Democratic voters to the polls for midterm elections, he was awaited to continue to Las Vegas to encourage Democratic voters.
